Professional Development
The Center for Teacher Success provides onsite, contracted workshops and coaching services to districts and schools across the state of Arizona. All of the Center's services are:
- delivered by veteran Arizona educators
- aligned with Arizona State and Common Core standards
- tailored to meet the specific needs of each district or school
- approved through the Greater Phoenix Purchasing Consortium of Schools (GPPS) and the
- Strategic Alliance for Volume Expenditures (SAVE)
Our workshops and support services are designed using research-validated "best practices" and the most promising instructional strategies for improving schools and increasing student achievement. The Center developed these services based on the published works of nationally-recognized educational leaders and on their extensive experiences in Arizona's K-12 education communities.
Our trainers will meet with your leadership team to design a plan, scope of service and budget, selecting from our broad portfolio of training and services.

Instructional Excellence Workshops
Teaching is not an easy profession. It takes patience, dedication and expertise. The Instructional Excellence workshops offered by the Center for Teacher Success help educators identify and respond to instructional challenges such as: "How can I create a learning environment that promotes respect and rapport? How do I effectively meet the needs of all my students? How do I teach for deep understanding? What's the best away to assess student learning?" Learn more.
Shared Instructional Leadership Workshops
Our Shared Instructional Leadership workshops and support services maximize the "Three Rs" for organizational excellence: Relationships, Responsibility and Results. Designed for leaders, these workshops enhance participants' abilities to transform their campuses into progressive centers for learning. Learn more.
STEM Summer Academies
The Center for Teacher Success, in collaboration with SRP, is pleased to offer two STEM-focused summer academies: Global Climate Change Academy and Teaching Inquiry-based Science Institute. SRP has a strong committment to STEM-focused professional development; their generous sponsorship allows participants receive a stipend for their participation.Unlike other Center workshops, pricing and registration are different for STEM summer academies. These professional development opportunities are alsoheld off campus. Strong emphasis will be placed on life and physical and environmental science, math, technology and engineering. Learn more.
STEM Workshops
Students are always asking, "Why do I need to know this stuff?" The Center's STEM workshops enable teachers to make the connection for students between classroom subject content and the real world—why the study of science and math is both interesting and relevant to their future. Each workshop is crafted to seize the imagination of teachers and learners alike. Strong emphasis is placed on science, math, technology, scientific integrity and metacognitive strategies. Specialized Support Services
Any of our workshops can be introductory, basic, intermediate or advanced based on the topics selected and level of experience of the participants; they can be conducted as part of an early-release or late-start schedule, or in one to four full-day sessions. Customization services include:
